To be voted on during the AGM on May 15th, 2021
A far reaching, holistic constitution amendment is being proposed which addresses major gaps in the current version; specifically, in the areas of Association mission, finances, Board-of-Trustees, Absentee Voting, and the responsibilities of the Executive Committee.
For over a year, the committee has worked diligently to study similar constitutions, propose a draft, consult with many Gurjar members on specific areas and worked with attorneys to provide a required legal framework.
The Constitution Committee and the Executive Committee has unanimously approved the changes and with this letter starting its efforts to explain the changes and build consensus towards ratifying the constitution at its AGM on May 15th.
Please review the Current and the Proposed constitutions at https://www.gurjar.org/constitution/
A high-level presentation describing the changes is also made available at the same place.
Gurjar has scheduled two Zoom Sessions to allow interactive discussion on any topic pertaining to the proposed changes. The committee would encourage the membership to submit their questions and concerns ahead of time by sending an email to Gurjar.email@example.com

We strongly recommend getting registered on Gurjar website and submitting your Absentee Ballot online ahead on the day of the meeting. For Gurjar.Org registration and technical issues contact Bharat Shah.
